This year, we continued to make improvements to reduce the environmental footprint of our clients, as well as our own. This included:
– Recycling all the cardboard cartons from all good received
– Using compostable bags for deliveries
– Moving to a paperless warehouse with more reliance on digital data
– Converting our forklifts to electricity
And this month we switched the lights OFF, on traditional lighting and flicked the switch ON to New Energy Efficient lighting at our Gilbertson Street warehouse.
This smart technology creates the perfect working conditions for a brighter and safer work environment. We now have over 12,000 square metres of space sufficiently lit by smart-lights which are motion-activated and turns off when enough natural light is detected.

Approaching a decade of service Michael brings his amazing energy to Cross Docks and continues to be known and respected for his positive attitude.
Bikram joined Cross Docks Australia 16 years ago just as the business was hitting it’s stride and has been a pivotal employee. Bikram is one of our most dedicated and long serving employees and our longest serving manager. Today, he continues to play an instrumental advisory role to customers and a leadership role to his team.
