2025 – The Australian’s Best Places to Work

Whoops, we did it again! Cross Docks Australia is proud to be included in the top 10 high flyers in The Australian’s Best Places to Work for 2025, in the category of medium sized firms (50-249 employees). Cross Docks was featured in the print and online versions of The Australian newspaper’s July 17 issue, outlining all the winners from 2025.  Far from being just good vibes, there is a proven and measurable link between workplace satisfaction and success in business, and Cross Docks is testament to this.

As WorkL founder Lord Mark Price explains “organisations with happy, engaged employees see higher productivity, reduced staff turnover and sick leave, and increased profits. These companies are also a magnet for top talent, finding it easier to both retain their best people and recruit new ones.”

Despite their success in last year’s Best Places to Work competition, Cross Docks has continued to work hard to deliver workplace training and staff development and ensure each employee works in an environment that fosters skills and improvement.  We want our staff to flourish and be invested in their own development but in a supportive system that sets them up to succeed.

The best places to work survey asks employees to rank their employer on six key drivers of workplace engagement including Reward and Recognition, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing, Instilling Pride and Job Satisfaction. Our success in these key pillars is evidence that we are continuing to provide our employees with an environment that encourages responsibility and initiative, and offers incentives and recognition for success in their role.

Managing Director, Shan Manickam stated that he was really proud to be counted amongst the best places to work in 2025. “We know that our clients get the best service delivery, when our people are  continently up-skilled and engaged in their work. Workplace satisfaction is one of our central pillars. Without our wonderful staff, we cannot deliver the goods for our customers, it’s as simple as that!”

Cross Docks Australia’s continuous investment in its workplace practices, ensures that our customers receive the excellent levels of service they have grown to expect and we are starting to see this in the feed back from our Net Promoter Score (NPS)  system. We are very proud of the business we have built and to be acknowledged in this way is another incentive for us to keep doing better.
